Il Giardino Botanico \u2018Caplez\u2019 \u00e8 situato in Emilia Romagna, nel Piacentino nella sperduta e affascinante localit\u00e0 \u2018Cappelluzzo\u2019 a 730 m. di altitudine tra Tassara e Stadera nella Val Tidone. E\u2019 agevolmente raggiungibile sia dal versante Piacentino che da quello Pavese (Santa Maria della Versa). In un area di 15.000 mq. vengono coltivate circa 1.800 specie e variet\u00e0 di piante provenienti da tutto il mondo. Rivestono particolare interesse due collezioni di arbusti: Spiraea e Philadelphus e di numerose erbacee perenni: Campanula, Centaurea, Eryngium, Nepeta, Penstemon, Phlomis, Potentilla, Salvia, Scutellaria, Sedum, Stachys, Teucrium, Verbascum. Cura e passione viene inoltre dedicata alla coltivazione e moltiplicazione di piante endemiche ed in via di estinzione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aperto quattro volte all\u2019anno nei giorni di sabato e domenica da met\u00e0 aprile a fine maggio. E\u2019 nostro precipuo interesse incrementare in prosieguo le visite.

:: Accesso disabili: attesa la sinuosit\u00e0 del terreno \u00e8, purtroppo, precluso l\u2019accesso a disabili e bambini in carrozzina e passeggino.
:: Attivit\u00e0: membro della BGCI, svolge attivit\u00e0 di conservazione delle piante minacciate e persegue progetti di reintroduzione in natura di specie a rischio. Il Giardino \u00e8 in contatto con oltre 350 Giardini Botanici di tutto il mondo.

Caplez’ Botanical Garden

The ‘Caplez’ Botanical Garden is located in Emilia Romagna, in the Piacenza area in the remote and charming locality of ‘Cappelluzzo’ at an altitude of 730 m. between Tassara and Stadera in Val Tidone. It can be easily reached from both the Piacenza and Pavia sides (Santa Maria della Versa). Around 1,800 species and varieties of plants from all over the world are cultivated in an area of 15,000 square metres. Of particular interest are two collections of shrubs: Spiraea and Philadelphus and numerous herbaceous perennials: Campanula, Centaurea, Eryngium, Nepeta, Penstemon, Phlomis, Potentilla, Salvia, Scutellaria, Sedum, Stachys, Teucrium, Verbascum. Care and passion is also devoted to the cultivation and propagation of endemic and endangered plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open four times a year on Saturdays and Sundays from mid-April to the end of May. It is in our interest to increase visits in the future.
Guided tours are by appointment only.
:: Entrance: free
:: Disabled access: due to the sinuosity of the terrain, access is unfortunately precluded for disabled people and children in prams and pushchairs.
:: Activities: member of the BGCI, it carries out conservation activities for endangered plants and pursues projects for the reintroduction of endangered species into the wild. The Garden is in contact with more than 350 Botanical Gardens around the world.
