After breakfast, train transfer to La Spezia (40 min.). By boat (vaporetto) you \u00a0go to the Palmaria Island for a circular tour of this little island rich in Mediterranean vegetation. Depending on the period you can see the bloom of cistus and nice rare orchids and admire the colorful wood.\u00a0Along the way spectacular sceneries on the sea and the coastline. In the first afternoon you will reach by boat Portovenere where you will visit the medial town, the Churches of San Pietro and San Lorenzo and the Byron Grotto. Once in La Spezia, take the bus to Portovenere (lines 11 or P<\/strong>). Follow the map below to reach the bus stop \u201cGaribaldi\u201d. During weekdays there are regular buses (every 15 minutes). When you arrive in Portovenere, check the schedule for the return trip.<\/p>\n

Once in Portovenere you can stroll around the village, or go and take the boat to the Palmaria Island. Take the boat of the company \u201cCooperativa Barcaioli Portovenere\u201d<\/strong>to the Palmaria Island. During Summer (from 15\/06 to 31\/08) and weekends the boat leaves every 30 min. from 9:00 am. to 06:45 pm. During spring and autumn boats are a little less frequent. To check the departure times, call the Cooperativa 0039 347.8024817<\/p>\n

You just have to wait for the boat on the pier opposite Piazza Bastreri.<\/p>\n
