Tra il 1122 e il 1160 vennero costruite l&#8217;area absidale, con la cripta, il transetto e le navate laterali. La facciata e la cupola, invece, furono terminati successivamente. La costruzione del campanile si protrasse sino al 1333 e, nel 1341, venne coronato da una scultura in rame dorato raffigurante un angelo, detta Angil dal Dom.<\/p>\n<p>Nei secoli successivi, la chiesa venne arricchita con decorazioni, cappelle e altari.
