Percorso lungo circa 7km con scarsi dislivelli, a partenza dal margine del paese sottostante la grande cava al cui sommo si scorge la chiesetta di santa Maria in Castello. Raggiuntala e goduto dal suo portico l\u2019ampio panorama, si traversa un altopiano di tipo carsico con la flora tipica della gariga: euforbia cespugliosa, santoreggia, elicriso, asparagina, alcune specie di orchidea. Lasciate sulla sn la piccola palestra di roccia delle Grepole (poco pi\u00f9 in alto) e una grande dolina, costeggiata una cava di calcare dismessa, si torna al piano a Casa Bruceto (a 200 metri c\u2019\u00e8 la carrozzabile lungo il Serchio). Si risale ad un deposito dell\u2019Acquedotto e si prosegue pe bosco di sclerofille come leccio, lentisco e corbezzolo o bosco misto di pino marittimo e robinie, nei pressi, il Romitorio di S.Pietro in Asconda e il Monte Bastione con resti di fortificazione. Poi per ameni uliveti e, infine, si chiude l\u2019anello per la Via del Paduletto al piede della collina. Tempo di percorrenza 3 ore circa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Poco oltre S. Maria, tracce di sentiero attraverso il Monte Spazzavento, nella gariga e poi per uliveti, portano in km 1.5 al di sopra della notissima palestra di roccia di Baccanella e della Torre medioevale di Avane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) Da Casa Bruceto, un raccordo di km 3 (che sottopassa l\u2019autostrada) congiunge con sentiero 0-0 sulla collina di Filettole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A circular trail about 7km long with little difference in height, starting from the edge of the town below the large quarry, at the top of which you can see the small church of Santa Maria in Castello. Once you reach it and enjoy the wide panorama from its portico, you cross a karst-type plateau with the typical flora of the garrigue: bushy euphorbia, savory, helichrysum, asparagine, some species of orchid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once you leave on the left the small rock climbing wall of Grepole (a little higher) and a large sinkhole, and after skirting a disused limestone quarry, the trail returns to the plain at Casa Bruceto (200 meters from the road along the Serchio). Then it climbs up to a deposit of the Aqueduct and continues through the wood of sclerophyllous such as holm oak, mastic and strawberry tree or mixed wood of maritime pine and locust trees. Nearby, the Hermitage of San Pietro in Asconda and Monte Bastione with remains of fortifications. The trail goes on through pleasant olive groves and, finally, it closes the loop through Via del Paduletto at the foot of the hill. Journey time about 3 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1) Just beyond S. Maria, traces of a path through Monte Spazzavento, in the garrigue and then through olive groves, lead in 1.5 km above the well-known rock climbing wall of Baccanella and the medieval Tower of Avane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) From Casa Bruceto, a 3 km junction (which underpasses the motorway) connects with the 0-0 path on the Filettole hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un sentier qui forme une boucle d’environ 7 km de long avec peu de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9, partant du bord de la ville sous la grande carri\u00e8re, au sommet de laquelle vous pouvez voir la petite \u00e9glise de Santa Maria in Castello. Une fois arriv\u00e9, profitant du large panorama depuis son portique, on traverse un plateau de type karstique avec la flore typique de la garrigue : euphorbe touffue, sarriette, h\u00e9lichryse, asparagine, quelques esp\u00e8ces d’orchid\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Une fois laiss\u00e9 sur la gauche le petit mur d’escalade de Grepole (un peu plus haut) et un grand gouffre, et apr\u00e8s avoir long\u00e9 une carri\u00e8re de calcaire d\u00e9saffect\u00e9e, le sentier revient dans la plaine \u00e0 Casa Bruceto (\u00e0 200 m\u00e8tres de la route qui longe le Serchio). Puis il monte jusqu’\u00e0 un d\u00e9p\u00f4t de l’Aqueduc et continue \u00e0 travers les bois de scl\u00e9rophylles comme le ch\u00eane vert, le lentisque et l’arbousier ou les bois mixtes de pins maritimes et d’acacias. A proximit\u00e9, l’Ermitage de San Pietro in Asconda et Monte Bastione avec des vestiges de fortifications. Le sentier continue \u00e0 travers d’agr\u00e9ables oliveraies et, enfin, il ferme la boucle par la Via del Paduletto au pied de la colline. Dur\u00e9e du trajet environ 3 heures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Juste apr\u00e8s S. Maria, les traces d’un chemin \u00e0 travers le Monte Spazzavento, dans la garrigue puis \u00e0 travers les oliveraies, m\u00e8nent \u00e0 1,5 km au-dessus du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre mur d’escalade de Baccanella et de la Tour m\u00e9di\u00e9vale d’Avane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) De Casa Bruceto, un embranchement de 3 km (qui passe sous l’autoroute) rejoint le sentier 0-0 sur la colline de Filetole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3) Du dessous du Monte Bastione, en 0,5 km on atteint le sommet du Monte del Legnaio, 183 m, avec un panorama
