{"type":"Feature","properties":{"id":7915,"name":"Chiesa di Santa Maria della Neve","description":"<h4 class=\"field field--name-field-abstract field--type-text-long field--label-hidden\">Compresa nell&#8217;antico castello di Panicale, lungo il corso del Riomagno, la chiesa in origine era detta di Santa Maria in Valle Verde, poi di Santa Maria ad Nives ed infine dell&#8217;Ascensione.<\/h4>\n<p>Costruita in stile romanico pisano presumibilmente tra l&#8217;XI ed il XII secolo, conserva all&#8217;esterno importanti elementi decorativi ed un&#8217;elegante abside spartita da lesene e coronata da archetti pensili poggianti su mensole variamente scolpite. Outside, the church still presents remarkable decorations, and a fine apse parted by pilasters and topped by hanging small arches which rest on sculpted brackets. The inner hall is divided from the apse by three arcades.<\/p>\n<p>According to a legend, the church was built by the sect of the &#8220;Free Masons&#8221;, which the modern Freemasonry descend from.
