The village is one of the two “Borghi delle Camelie” (villages of the camellias) and, in march, houses the “Exposition of the old Camellias of Lucca” that attracts tourists from all over the world. It is to notice the interesting water patrimony of the area: the spring of Capo a Vico with its little bridge and a stone wash-board. An evidence of the past is the romanic Signalling Turret in the locality of Al Canto. Here we also find the romanic church of Saint Andrew Apostle, accompanied by suggestive views such as the Crociale, the ramp that leads to the parish church.<\/p>\n
