Marina di Pisa<\/strong>\u00a0si presenta racchiusa in uno scenario suggestivo: da un lato la lunga curva dell\u2019arenile della\u00a0Tenuta di San Rossore\u00a0e il profilo delle Alpi Apuane\u00a0<\/strong>e sullo sfondo la linea dell\u2019orizzonte che sembra tuffarsi nelle acque azzurre del mare.<\/p>\n

Marina di Pisa<\/strong>\u00a0presenta molti edifici in stile Liberty, inseriti in un tessuto urbano caratterizzato dalle ampie piazze che si affacciano direttamente sul mare e dalla vasta pineta alle sue spalle.<\/p>\n

Il litorale offre piccole spiagge sabbiose o ghiaiose, circondate da possenti scogliere frangiflutti che le proteggono dalle mareggiate, ma procedendo verso sud l\u2019arenile si fa pi\u00f9 consistente divenendo sede di\u00a0stabilimenti balneari\u00a0ed attrezzature turistiche.<\/p>\n

The Viale D\u2019Annunzio, the road that skirts the left bank of the Arno, leads from Pisa to Marina di Pisa, originally founded as a seaside resort in the latter half of the 19th century, even though the area had previously been inhabited by fishermen.<\/h4>\n

Marina di Pisa<\/strong>\u00a0is set in wonderful scenery: the curved shoreline of\u00a0San Rossore Estate\u00a0<\/strong>and the outline of the Apuan Alps, with the horizon that seems to dive right into the blue waters of the sea.<\/p>\n

The urban fabric of\u00a0Marina di Pisa\u00a0<\/strong>features many Art Nouveau buildings overlooking large squares looking out to sea and backed by pine woods.<\/p>\n

The small sandy or pebbly beaches\u00a0<\/strong>are protected from sea storms by strong breaker rocks; proceeding south, the beaches become wider and well equipped with\u00a0bathing establishments<\/strong>\u00a0and tourist facilities.<\/p>\n
