Between the 16th and the 17th centuries, it was rebuilt, and completely remade in 1861-62, when its orientation was turned of 90 degrees. Of the medieval setting only the fa\u00e7ade ending in a gable, and the lintelled portal with archivolt, are left. In the right flank a sculpted lintel is embedded. By unknown author, it dates back to the late 11th century, and it surely comes from the Pisa-Lucca artistic environment. It represents a man holding an elaborate floral shoot, and real and imaginary animals. Inside, the single hall is entirely due to the 19th century rebuilding.<\/p>\n
