The sequence is discontinuous and differs from the classical sequence of the Penrose conference.<br \/>\nFrom the bottom to the top of the SW ridge of the Chenaillet, we have the sequence : serpentinized mantle, isotropic gabbro and pillows lavas. The dyke complex is missing. Only a few dykes crosscut the serpentinite or the gabbro.
