In the M. Sagro area the Marmi carbonate platform is cut by fractures, often karstified. In the Castelbaito quarry a wide neptunian dyke filled by carbonate and cherty clasts lies in a marly-matrix of Dogger age. The fill of this mega-fracture indicates a strong tectonic activity during the Middle Jurassic. The height of the cut is about 7-8 m. From Campocecina, northern Alpi Apuane.<\/p>\n
