In particolare sulle antiche e lucenti rocce piegate dalle forti pressioni appartenenti al gruppo degli Scisti di Rendena.<\/p>\n<p>Il lago appare incassato al cospetto della dorsale rocciosa che si diparte dal Creper di Stracciola (2344 m), le cui pareti rocciose presentano caratteristiche \u201cstrisce nere\u201d. Queste sono dovute alla presenza di cianobatteri che colonizzano le pareti rocciose, ove vi sia sufficiente umidit\u00e0 per permettere loro di sopravvivere.<\/p>\n<p>Avvicinandosi alle sponde colonizzate da muschi, piantine di <em>Saxifraga stellaris<\/em>\u00a0e pennacchi rotondi, ci si imbatte facilmente in girini e piccole rane lungo la linea di riva. In fact cyanobacteria colonize the rocky walls where there is sufficient humidity to allow them to survive.<\/p>\n<p>Approaching the banks rich in mosses, Saxifraga stellaris seedlings and round plumes, one easily encounters tadpoles and small frogs along the shore line.
