Si tratta di cave di notevole importanza storica. Infatti da esse si estraevano le <strong>pietre decorative<\/strong>\u00a0utilizzate in\u00a0<strong>Val Rendena<\/strong>\u00a0per gli edifici tradizionali e per decorare i principali monumenti, palazzi e chiese del Trentino. L&#8217;antica cava di Pimont era infatti una cava di <strong>Tonalite<\/strong>. Questa roccia \u00e8 fortemente caratteristica del geoparco. Ricavata in abbondanza nel settore Adamello-Presanella \u00e8 nota per la sua peculiarit\u00e0 mineralogica e petrologica. Il nome inoltre deriva da un toponimo locale e noto in tutto il mondo. La cava era situata alla fine della <a href=\"\/www.pnab.it\/poi\/val-nambrone\">Val Nambrone<\/a>. In abgeschiedenen Bereichen des Adamello-Presanella Parks abgebaut ist er bekannt f\u00fcr seine mineralologische und petrologische Besonderheit. Der Name stammt von einem lokalen Toponym.
