Nell’ottocento si insediarono nelle Giudicarie<\/a> quattro vetrerie: le vetrerie Bormioli<\/strong> e Garuti in Val D’Algone, la Fabbrica di Cristalli<\/strong> Pernici e Bolognini a Carisolo e la vetreria Venini<\/strong> a Tione. Un’industria fiorente e rinomata, che produceva lastre per finestre e bottiglie. Nella vetreria di Carisolo, cristalleria pregiata era esportata in Nord Italia e Nord Europa. Le valli Giudicarie possedevano tutti i requisiti necessari per favorire la produzione vetraria. Il sottosuolo ricco di quarzo<\/strong> di ottima qualit\u00e0, elemento essenziale della pasta vetrosa. I boschi rigogliosi per fornire di combustibile le fornaci. E infine abbondanza di acque correnti, per alimentare le grandi ruote idrauliche dei mulini del quarzo e delle segherie.<\/p>\n

Nella Fabbrica di Cristalli Pernici e Bolognini (1805-1888), presso Carisolo, lavoravano circa 70 persone. Gli addetti alla frantumazione del quarzo, i tagliaboschi, i maestri vetrai, giunti dalla Boemia e dall’Alsazia, garzoni e operaie impagliatrici. Il complesso produttivo era come un piccolo villaggio. Era composto dalla grande Halle, sede della fornace, con la sua imponente ciminiera. E poi la casa delle maestranze, la colombera, sede degli uffici, la casa padronale, le stalle e scuderie, la rassica del legname (segheria \u201cveneziana\u201d ad acqua) e il mulino del quarzo.<\/p>\n

Il minerale proveniva dalle miniere di Borzago e di Giustino. Veniva trasportato a dorso di mulo o su slitte al mulino. Ridotto in polvere nella imponente molazza di granito, forniva la materia prima per la realizzazione della composta vetrosa. L\u2019attivit\u00e0 delle vetrerie dur\u00f2 circa un secolo. Rappresenta ancora oggi un illuminato esempio di imprenditoria che seppe trasformare una comunit\u00e0 isolata in una realt\u00e0 multiculturale aperta verso l\u2019esterno. A testimoniare quel particolare periodo sono rimasti pochi ma significativi segni. Ad esempio il rudere della ciminiera della seconda vetreria in Val D’Algone e il complesso della \u201cFabrica Cristallorum\u201d a Carisolo, in localit\u00e0 \u201cAntica Vetreria\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the nineteenth century four glassworks settled in the Giudicarie: the Bormioli and Garuti glassworks in Val D’Algone, the Fabbrica di cristalli Pernici and Bolognini in Carisolo and the Venini glassworks in Tione. A flourishing and renowned industry, which produced plates for windows and bottles. In the Carisolo glassware, fine glassware exported to Northern Italy and Northern Europe. The Giudicarie valleys possessed all the requisites necessary to glass production. The subsoil rich in quartz of excellent quality, an essential element of vitreous paste. Lush woods to supply furnaces with fuel. And finally plenty of running water, to feed the large water wheels of mills and sawmills.<\/p>\n

In the Fabbrica di Cristalli Pernici and Bolognini (1805-1888) in Carisolo, worked about 70 people. The workers who crushed the quartz, the woodcutters, the master glassmakers, from Bohemia and Alsace, and workers. The production complex was like a small village. It was composed of the large Halle, site of the furnace, with its imposing chimney. And then the workers’ house, the colombera, the office building, the manor house, the stables, the \u201cVenetian\u201d water-sawmill and the quartz mill.<\/p>\n

The mineral came from the mines of Borzago and Giustino. It was transported on the back of mules or on sledges to the mill. Reduced to dust in the imposing granite muller, it provided the raw material for the glass composite. The activity of the glassworks lasted about a century. It still represents an enlightened example of entrepreneurship that knew how to transform an isolated community into a multicultural complex . From that period few but significant facilities are left. For example, the ruin of the chimney of the second glass factory in Val D’Algone and the complex of the “Fabrica Cristallorum” in Carisolo, in the “Antica Vetreria” area.<\/p>\n

Im 19. Jahrhundert siedelten sich vier Glasereien in Giudicarie<\/a> an: Die Glasereien Bormio<\/strong> und Garuti im Val D’algone Tal, die Kristallfabrik<\/strong> Pernici und Bolognini in Carisolo und die Glaserei Venini<\/strong> in Tione; eine florierende und renommierte Industrie, die Glasscheiben f\u00fcr Fenster und Flaschen produzierte. In den Giudicarie T\u00e4lern waren alle notwendigen Voraussetzungen vorhanden, um die Glasproduktion zu erm\u00f6glichen: Der Untergrund reich an Quarz<\/strong> hoher Qualit\u00e4t, ein wesentliches Element der Glaspaste, \u00fcppige W\u00e4lder zum Versorgen der \u00d6fen mit Brennstoff und schlie\u00dflich gro\u00dfe Mengen an flie\u00dfendem Wasser, um die gro\u00dfen Wasserr\u00e4der von Quarzm\u00fchlen und S\u00e4gewerken zu anzutreiben.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In der Glasfabrik Pernici e Bolognini (1805-1888) in Carisolo arbeiteten etwa 70 Menschen: Arbeiter f\u00fcr das Zermahlen von Quarz, Holzf\u00e4ller, Glasmeister aus B\u00f6hmen und dem Elsass, Laufburschen und Stroharbeiter. Der Produktionskomplex war wie ein kleines Dorf. Er bestand aus der gro\u00dfen Halle mit dem Ofen und seinem imposanten Schornstein, dem Arbeiterhaus, den B\u00fcrogeb\u00e4uden (Colombera), dem Herrenhaus, den St\u00e4llen, den Holz- und S\u00e4gewerken (“veneziana”, wasserbasiert) sowie der Quarzm\u00fchle.<\/div>\n
Das Mineral stammte aus den Minen von Borzago und Giustino. Es wurde mithilfe von Mulis oder Schlitten zur M\u00fchle transportiert. Sobald es von der impostanten Granitmuller zu Pulver gemahlen worden war, stellte es den ersten Rohstoff f\u00fcr die Herstellung des Glasverbundes dar. Die Glasereien waren f\u00fcr etwa ein Jahrhundert aktiv. Sie sind noch heute ein leuchtendes Beispiel f\u00fcr das Unternehmertum, das eine isolierte Gesellschaft in eine wahrhaft multikulturelle Gemeinschaft verwandelt, welche nach au\u00dfen offen ist. Heute sind nicht mehr viele Zeugen dieser Zeit geblieben, etwa die Ruine des Schornsteins der zweiten Glaserei im Val D’Algone Tal und der Komplex der “Fabrica Cristallorum” in Carisolo in der Ortschaft “Antica Vetreria”.<\/div>\n
