L\u2019Antica Vetreria di Val Algone nasceva grazie all\u2019abbondanza di quarzo che veniva estratto nell\u2019omonima valle. Questo minerale favor\u00ec lo sviluppo dell’ industria vetraria nelle Giudicarie nell\u2019800. Era una delle 4 vetrerie che sfruttavano il sottosuolo ricco di silicio per la produzione della pasta vetrosa. La sua ciminiera \u00e8 ancora in piedi ed \u00e8 visitabile. Il percorso parte in Val d\u2019Algone e collega l\u2019antica cava e l\u2019antica vetreria attraverso il racconto della produzione del vetro, della trasformazione antropica dei luoghi e del potere della natura che si \u00e8 ripresa il suo spazio.<\/p>\n

The Ancient Glass Factory of Val Algone was born thanks to the abundance of quartz that was extracted in the homonymous valley. This mineral favored the development of the glass industry in the Giudicarie area in the 1800s. It was one of 4 glassworks that exploited the subsoil rich in silicon for the production of vitreous paste. Its chimney is still standing and can be visited. The route starts in Val d\u2019Algone and connects the ancient quarry and the glassworks through the story of the glass production, the anthropic transformation of places and of the power of nature.<\/p>\n

Die alte Glaserei vom Val Algone entstand dank des reichen Vorkommens an Quarz, welches im gleichnamigen Tal abgebaut wurde. Dieses Mineral f\u00f6rderte die Entwicklung der Glasindustrie in den Giudicarie im 19. Jahrhundert. Dies war eine der vier Glasereien, die davon profitierten, dass der Untergrund reich an Silizium f\u00fcr die Produktion der Glaspaste war. Der Schornstein ist noch intakt und kann besichtigt werden. Ein Lehrpfad startet im Val d’algone Tal und verbindet die alte Mine und die Glaserei mit einer Erz\u00e4hlung der Glasproduktion, der anthropologischen Ver\u00e4nderung der Ortschaften und von den Naturm\u00e4chten, welche sich ihren Platz zur\u00fcckerobert haben.<\/p>\n
