Quando arriviamo nei pressi del Lago di San Giuliano rimaniamo affascinati dalla bellezza del paesaggio. Il lago in ogni condizione climatica suscita sentimenti di pace e tranquillit\u00e0. Il paesaggio \u00e8 cos\u00ec accogliente e di rara bellezza che anche il Principe vescovo Carlo Emanuele Madruzzo venne a passarvi l\u2019estate dal 1649 al 1653.<\/p>\n
Ma nasconde anche dei segreti sotto il velo d\u2019argento delle sue acque.\u00a0Narra infatti la leggenda che presso lo specchio d\u2019acqua visse in eremitaggio Giuliano, un nobile dissoluto. Quest’ultimo, dopo aver assassinato i genitori, si ritir\u00f2 qui tra i monti. Una volta catturato dalle guardie, venne chiuso in un sacco pieno di vipere e gettato nel lago. Ma non affond\u00f2, anzi fu riportato a riva placidamente addormentato con in grembo le vipere. Venne quindi considerato un miracolato e liberato.<\/p>\n

When we arrive near Lake San Giuliano we are fascinated by the beauty of the landscape. The lake in all weather conditions arouses feelings of peace and tranquility. The landscape is so welcoming and of rare beauty that even the Prince Bishop Carlo Emanuele Madruzzo came to spend the summer here from 1649 to 1653.<\/p>\n
But it also hides secrets under the silver veil of its waters. In fact, the legend says that Giuliano, a dissolute nobleman, lived in hermitage near the lake. The latter, after having murdered his parents, retired here in the mountains. Once captured by the guards, he was put in a sack full of vipers and thrown into the lake. But he did not sink, on the contrary he was brought back to shore placidly asleep with the vipers in his lap. It was therefore considered a miracle and he was released.<\/p>\n
