Le acque color smeraldo del Lago di Molveno fanno da grande specchio alle cime frastagliate delle Dolomiti di Brenta<\/a>, come il Campanil Basso, il Croz dell\u2019Altissimo, gli Sfulmini e la Cima Tosa. Ecco perch\u00e9 \u00e8 considerato un mare tra i monti. Piacevolissimo passeggiare lungo le sue sponde, attraversarlo su un pedal\u00f2, rilassarsi al sole sulla spiaggetta oppure girarlo in bicicletta. Il luogo ideale per trascorrere momenti indimenticabili in una cornice di montagne uniche al mondo.<\/p>\n

La sua origine risale all\u2019epoca postglaciale (circa 3000 anni fa). Dovuta ad uno sbarramento della valle causato da un enorme frana staccatasi dalla montagna sovrastante.<\/p>\n

Gli imponenti lavori degli anni \u201850 per lo sfruttamento idroelettrico portarono al quasi completo svuotamento del bacino nel 1951. Venne alla luce una\u00a0 foresta di tronchi radicati, testimonianza della frana che diede origine al lago. Oggi il livello delle acque \u00e8 mantenuto grazie alle acque che giungono dall\u2019Adamello.<\/p>\n

Molveno \u00e8 una nota meta turistica estiva. Negli ultimi anni per la ricca offerta turistica ha ricevuto la \u201cbandiera arancione\u201d del Touring Club Italiano.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0E’ anche un ottimo punto di partenza per interessanti escursioni sulle Dolomiti di Brenta.<\/p>\n

\nThe emerald waters of Lake Molveno<\/strong> mirror the jagged peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, such as Campanil Basso, Croz dell\u2019Altissimo, Sfulmini and Cima Tosa. This is why it is considered a sea in the mountains. Very pleasant to walk along its banks, cross it on a pedalo, relax in the sun on the beach or ride it by bicycle. The ideal place to spend unforgettable moments in a setting of mountains unique in the world.
\nIts origin dates back to the post-glacial period (around 3000 years ago). A dam was formed in the valley as a consequence of a huge landslide that broke away from the mountain above.
\nThe impressive works of the 1950s for hydroelectric exploitation led to the almost complete depletion of the basin in 1951. A forest of rooted logs came to light, testimony of the landslide that gave rise to the lake.
\nToday the water level is maintained thanks to the waters that come from the Adamello.
\nMolveno is a famous summer tourist destination. In recent years, thanks to its rich tourist offer, it has received the \u201corange flag\u201d of the Italian Touring Club.
