Gi\u00e0 dopo il termine della seconda guerra mondiale la conca non era pi\u00f9 alimentata direttamente dal ghiacciaio ed era rimasta un\u2019ampia area di ghiaccio fossile (non in movimento) che si liber\u00f2 completamente negli anni Settanta.<\/p>\nIl colore scuro, blu intenso, dello specchio lacustre testimonia la definitiva separazione da un\u2019alimentazione diretta di acque di fusione della lingua glaciale. A jump backwards in April 1916 takes us into the middle of the White War fought on the peaks of the Adamello. A group of Austrian soldiers are in forced march at night towards the Corno di Cavento. They are crossing the glacier, they have no other choice. During the crossing one of them falls and is swallowed up in a crevasse. There is no longer any trace of him. Only ten years later his body was found by the manager of the mountain hut Car\u00e8 Alto in the waters of the lake which has been called Lake Busa del Morto ever since.<\/p>\n
All around today there are still several signs of the war, like some remnants of barbed wire and barracks. It is a lake of rather recent origin formed by the withdrawal of the Lares glacier dating back to about a century ago. His formation probably dates back to 1926. Already after the end of the Second World War the basin was no longer fed directly by the glacier and a large area of fossil ice (not moving) remained, which was completely freed in the 1970s.<\/p>\n
The dark, deep blue color of the lake shows the definitive separation from a direct supply of melt water from the glacial tongue. The lake emissary feeds the Rio Lares. Ein Sprung zur\u00fcck in die Vergangenheit – April 1916 – mitten in den Wei\u00dfen Krieg (Guerra Bianca) auf den Gipfeln von Adamello. Eine \u00f6sterreichische Milit\u00e4rtruppe ist auf dem Kriegsmarsch richtung Corno di Cavento. Sie \u00fcberqueren den Gletscher – sie haben keine andere Wahl. W\u00e4hrend der \u00dcberquerung f\u00e4llt einer von ihnen in eine Gletscherspalte und bleibt spurlos verschwunden. Erst zehn Jahre sp\u00e4ter wird sein K\u00f6rper vom H\u00fcttenwird von Car\u00e8 Alto gefunden – im Wasser des Sees, der von da an den Namen Busa del Morto (H\u00f6hle des Toten) tr\u00e4gt. In der Umgebung finden sich auch heute noch Spuren des Krieges – Stacheldrahtreste oder Baracken…<\/p>\n
Es ist ein recht junger See, der auf den R\u00fcckgang des Gletscher von Lares<\/a> vor etwa einem Jahrhundert zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist. Seine Entstehung wird mit ziemlicher Sicherheit im Jahr 1926 vermutet. Seine Formation dauerte allerdings einige Jahre an. Bereits nach Ende des zweiten Weltkrieges wurde das Becken nicht mehr direkt durch den Gletscher gespeist; zur\u00fcck blieb ein fossiler Gletscher (nicht in Bewegung), der in den 70er Jahren vollst\u00e4ndig freigelegt war.<\/p>\nDie dunkle, tiefblaue Farbe der Seeoberfl\u00e4che bezeugt die absolute Trennung einer direkten Wasserzufuhr durch die Gletscherzunge. Der Abfluss des Sees speist den Lares Fluss.
