Maestoso giro ad anello, abbastanza anomalo rispetto all’immagine classica che abbiamo delle Foreste: si svolge principalmente su creste aeree e in parte anche brulle e ci\u00f2 si traduce in grandiosit\u00e0 dei panorami. E’ ovviamente sconsigliabile nella pi\u00f9 calda estate, quando le vicine vere Foreste offrono ben altro, ma \u00e8 un’autentica goduria per tutto il resto dell’anno. Motivi di interesse ambientale, oltre che in singole specie botaniche non comuni (perlomeno ginepro rosso e cerro-sughera), risiedono soprattutto nei selvaggi valloni su cui ci si affaccia da quello che \u00e8 il \u201cgiro di boa\u201d nonch\u00e9 il punto pi\u00f9 alto dell’itinerario, Monte Tiravento (e anche il nome testimonia del grandioso isolamento del sito) e nel bellissimo rudere della medievale Torre di Montalto. Outward journey to Rotondo Mount-return to the Rocca di Montalto Majestic ring tour, quite anomalous compared to the classic image we have of the Forests: it takes place mainly on aerial crests and partly also barren and this translates into great views. It is obviously not recommended in the hottest summer, when the nearby real Forests offer much more, but it is an authentic pleasure for the rest of the year. Reasons of environmental interest, as well as in individual uncommon botanical species (at least red juniper and Turkey oak), mainly reside in the wild valleys overlooked by what is the “turning point” as well as the highest point of the itinerary,\u00a0 (and also the name testifies to the grandiose isolation of the site) and in the beautiful ruin of the medieval Montalto Tower.
