Bel giro \u201ca palloncino\u201d con il filo che si snoda su pista sterrata ed anello invece su veri sentieri; quello sommitale, da Ballatoio a Villaneta, \u00e8 uno dei pi\u00f9 belli in assoluto di tutto il parco, perlomeno per chi sia interessato agli aspetti forestali, con faggeta assai eterogenea (mista ad aceri, tiglio, olmo montano e, localizzatissimo, tasso) di quota non elevata ma ricca di specie microterme legate ad anfratti fresco-umidi (felci, lunaria rediviva, fusaggine maggiore, ecc.); l\u2019esposizione complessiva \u00e8 verso nord e ci troviamo ai piedi della boscosa dorsale che molto pi\u00f9 in alto si snoda dalla Calla verso Poggio Scali, solcata da selvaggi valloni con fossi perenni. Nice “balloon” ride with the wire winding on a dirt track and ring on real paths; the top one, from Ballatoio to Villaneta, is one of the most beautiful paths in the whole park, at least for those interested in forestry aspects, with a very heterogeneous beech forest (mixed with maples, linden, wych elm and, very localized, yew), not high but rich in microthermal species linked to cool-humid ravines (ferns, lunaria rediviva, spindle, etc.); the overall exposure is towards the north and we find ourselves at the foot of the wooded ridge that runs much higher from the Calla towards Poggio Scali, furrowed by wild valleys with perennial ditches. The return also presents hints of historical-anthropological value thanks to the ancient buildings that flank the mule
