Il Ponte Nuovo si trova in localit\u00e0 Giumella, a circa 3 Km da Premilcuore. Quest’ultimo rappresenta l\u2019unico centro abitato dell\u2019alta valle del Rabbi; nel mezzo di un territorio solitario e selvaggio, \u00e8 caratterizzato dal nucleo medievale fortificato, dominato dal castello dei conti Guidi.\u00a0 Il ponte fu costruito intorno al XVII secolo e fu denominato cos\u00ec per distinguerlo dal pi\u00f9 antico “Ponte a scanno” che croll\u00f2. Ponte Nuovo is located in Giumella, about 3 km from Premilcuore,which represents the only inhabited center in the upper Rabbi valley and\u00a0\u00a0it is characterized by the fortified medieval nucleus, dominated by the castle of the Guidi counts in the middle of a solitary and wild territory,. The bridge was built around the 17th century and was named to distinguish it from the more ancient “Ponte a scanno”, which collapsed.
