Il gruppo del Falterona \u00e8 il complesso montuoso pi\u00f9 importante del Parco e, proprio nel versante fiorentino dell’area protetta, si presenta in modo maestoso e selvaggio. Il Centro Visita affronta il tema della montagna sotto molteplici aspetti: vi \u00e8 lo spazio dedicato ai “Viaggiatori celebri”(Etruschi, Dante, Dino Campana, le truppe alleate); lo spazio relativo all\u2019 “Anatomia della montagna; nella stanza della “Civilt\u00e0 del castagno” si ripercorrono le storie degli abitanti di Castagno ed il loro rapporto con la coltivazione del castagno. Nella “stanza delle suggestioni” si pu\u00f2 assistere ad una proiezione sulla montagna e sulle stagioni del castagneto. The Falterona mountain chain is the most important mountain complex in the Park and, on the Florentine side of the protected area, it is presented in a majestic and wild way. The Visitor Center deals with the theme of the mountain in many aspects: there is the space dedicated to the “famous travelers” (Etruscans, Dante, Dino Campana, the allied troops); the space relating to the “Anatomy of the mountain”; in the room of the” Civilization of the chestnut” the stories of the inhabitants of Castagno and their relationship with the cultivation of chestnut are traced. In the” room of suggestions” you can watch a projection on the mountain and on the seasons of the chestnut grove.
