Partendo da alcune collezioni di oggetti del lavoro e del pensiero contadino del nostro territorio, costruiremo una rete di nodi che racconteranno, approfondendola, la storia degli uomini che con quei manufatti hanno plasmato il nostro paesaggio, hanno coltivato il nostro cibo, hanno fondato la nostra cultura.<\/p>\n
Guardando la nostra campagna si vede un filare d’uva, una casa, un fiume, pagliai, orti, pollai, olivi. Centinaia d’anni e migliaia di braccia hanno costruito quel paesaggio, secondo una intelligenza collettiva e sociale, che ha tenuto conto dell’esigenza umana in rapporto e relazione col territorio, che quegli uomini doveva sfamare. La stessa storia \u00e8 in un pezzo di pane toscano, ma non si vede: si sente. Migliaia di cucine e cuori e selezioni di grano e lieviti l’hanno prodotto. Mangiando il nostro territorio impariamo molte cose su di esso, e ne diveniamo custodi.<\/p>\n
Guardiamo il mondo come se aprissimo un album di foto, ma quello che vediamo, che viviamo, \u00e8 la necessaria eredit\u00e0 di chi ci ha preceduto. In campagna, dove tutta la famiglia dai vecchi ai bambini contribuiva a lavorare la terra, a quaranta anni si abitava ancora dove si era nati e si poteva dire \u00abquella pietra che tiene la terra di quello scalino di quell’argine di quel fiume l’ho messa io trenta anni fa\u00bb e c\u0403fera una coscienza silenziosa e chiara di cosa l\u0403faccumulo del lavoro condiviso, pietra su pietra, anno su anno, pu\u00f2 generare. Si condivide un terreno anche quando si succede a chi lavorava prima di noi.<\/p>\n

Starting from some collections of objects of work and peasant thought in our area, we will build a network of nodes that will explain, in depth, the history of the men who, with those artifacts, have shaped our landscape, cultivated our food, founded our culture.<\/p>\n
Looking at our countryside we see a row of grapes, a house, a river, haystacks, vegetable gardens, chicken coops, olive trees. Hundreds of years and thousands of arms have built that landscape, according to a collective and social intelligence, which has taken into account the human need in relation to and relationship with the territory, which those men had to feed. The same story is in a piece of Tuscan bread, but you can’t see it: it feels. Thousands of kitchens and hearts and selections of wheat and yeast have produced it. By eating our territory we learn many things about it, and we become its custodians.<\/p>\n
We look at the world as if we were opening a photo album, but what we see, what we live, is the necessary legacy of those who preceded us. In the countryside, where the whole family from the old to the children helped to work the land, at forty they still lived where they were born and one could say “that stone that holds the earth of that step of that bank of that river the I set thirty years ago “and there is a silent and clear conscience of what the accumulation of shared work, stone by stone, can generate over the years. We share a ground even when it happens to those who worked before us.<\/p>\n
