Situata tra i 1000 e i 1100 metri di quota in luogo in\u00a0 cui convergono i sentieri 11 da Fociomboli e 128 da Tre Fiumi per il Rifugio Del Freo, questa\u00a0 conca \u00e8 circondata dai monti Corchia,\u00a0 Freddone \u00a0 Pania della Croce e Pizzo delle Saette, che da qui appare nella sua veste pi\u00f9 imponente.<\/p>\n
Nei secoli passati, e fino agli anni ’80, \u00e8 stato usato dai pastori della comunit\u00e0 di Terrinca, come testimoniano i vecchi casolari e ruderi della zona ed anche una chiesetta che sorge al centro dell’alpeggio. Alcuni casolari sono stati ristrutturati ed adibiti all\u2019accoglienza di escursionisti e gitanti con posti letto e cucina: la Baita \u201cIl Robbio\u201d che \u00e8 una piccola azienda agricola, la Baita \u201cCiampi\u201d e il Rifugio \u201cLa Quiete\u201d.<\/p>\n
La chiesa del Puntato \u00e8 dedicata alla SS. Trinit\u00e0 e risale al 1679, vicino c\u2019era una maest\u00e0 pi\u00f9 antica fatta edificare per sua devozione da Francesco Bacchelli con icona marmorea dedicata alla Madonna del Rosario col Bambino e S. Giovani Battista. Located between 1000 and 1100 meters above sea level in a place where paths 11 from Fociomboli and 128 from Tre Fiumi to the Rifugio Del Freo converge, this basin is surrounded by the Corchia, Freddone Pania della Croce and Pizzo delle Saette mountains, which from here it appears in its most imposing guise.<\/p>\n
In past centuries, and up to the 80s, it was used by the shepherds of the Terrinca community, as evidenced by the old farmhouses and ruins of the area and also a church that stands in the center of the mountain pasture. Some farmhouses have been renovated and used for the reception of hikers and day trippers with beds and kitchen: the “Il Robbio” hut which is a small farm, the “Ciampi” hut and the “La Quiete” refuge.<\/p>\n
The church of Puntato is dedicated to the SS. Trinity and dates back to 1679, nearby there was an older majesty built for his devotion by Francesco Bacchelli with a marble icon dedicated to the Madonna of the Rosary with the Child and St. John the Baptist. L\u2019ingresso \u00e8 a 1150 metri, la profondit\u00e0 \u00e8 281 metri e lo sviluppo spaziale circa 1400.
\nLa grotta era conosciuta dai valligiani da tempo immemorabile e su di esso avevano creato leggende paurose.
\nLa prima discesa, di poche decine di metri, risale al 1912, una successiva nel 1923 si spinse pi\u00f9 avanti, ma solo nel periodo 1929-1930 una spedizione del GSF percorse la grotta per intero.
\nL\u2019ingresso \u00e8 un inghiottitoio di dimensioni imponenti nel quale si perde un piccolo corso d\u2019acqua che scende dal Corchia, la grotta consiste in una serie di gallerie e di pozzi.
\nIl nome deriva da una figura molto diffusa nel folklore locale ed in generale in tutto il mondo.
\nPeloso, mostruoso, selvaggio ed abitatore di caverne, l\u2019homo selvaticus \u00e8 un mito che nasce con l\u2019umanit\u00e0: \u00e8 il passato ancestrale che non si pu\u00f2 dimenticare.
\nAd esso si guarda da una parte con nostalgia per quello che si \u00e8 perduto e dall\u2019altra con disprezzo e senso di superiorit\u00e0 per la civilt\u00e0 che pensiamo di aver acquisito.
\nQuindi si guarda ad esso con un misto di paura e di ammirazione ed egli stesso acquista sia valenze positive che negative nell\u2019immaginario collettivo.
\nLe leggende locali dicono che egli insegnasse ai pastori come utilizzare il latte per fare formaggio e ricotta, ma poi infastidito dalle loro ulteriori richieste se ne tornasse nelle sue grotte.
