Deviazione che consente di raggiungere un sito di un interesse storico (antica sede di mercato, attiva dal Medioevo sino al XVIII secolo) e archeologico (furono qui trovate 9 statue stele dell’epoca del Bronzo e del Ferro) lungo quella che fu la “Via di Reggio”, tra Reggio Emilia e Carrara. Luogo che conserva ancora un certo fascino per i pochi ma suggestivi ruderi rimasti e per la presenza di antico ponte a schiena d’asino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giunti da Bardine <\/strong>all\u2019incrocio con la SP10, anzich\u00e9 proseguire subito per Marciaso si pu\u00f2 invece raggiungere localit\u00e0 Ponte Vecchio<\/strong>, percorrendo la SP in opposta direzione (sinistra) verso Tenerano per circa 600 m fino all\u2019imbocco di un\u2019ampia strada forestale che in circa 15 minuti conduce alla suggestiva localit\u00e0 di Ponte Vecchio (sito ameno costituito dai ruderi di un antico borgo medievale e, proseguendo, da un piccolo ponte a schiena d\u2019asino sul torrente Bardinello, l\u00e0 dove esso riceve anche le acque del Canale di Bocciari) area di ritrovamento delle statue stele, segno dell\u2019antica frequentazione della zona. Detour that allows you to reach a site of historical and archaeological interest where 9 stele statues from the Bronze and Iron times were found. This was an ancient marketplace, active from the Middle Ages until the eighteenth century, along what was once the “Via of Reggio “, between Reggio Emilia and Carrara. A place that still retains a certain charm due to the few, but suggestive, surviving ruins and the presence of an ancient humpback bridge.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n

Arriving from Bardine<\/strong>, at the intersection with the SP10 instead of continuing immediately towards Marciaso, you can reach Ponte Vecchio<\/strong> taking the SP10 in the opposite direction (left) towards Tenerano. After about 600 m take a wide forest road that in about 15 minutes leads to the charming locality of Ponte Vecchio, a pleasant site with few ruins of an ancient medieval village. At this point continue on the forest road to a small humpback bridge over the Bardinello stream, which here receives the waters of the Bocciari Canal. This area is where the stele statues were found, a sign of the area being inhabited in ancient time.
