Uno dei tanti laghi presenti nel territorio del Parco Nazionale dell\u2019Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, sito sul confine tra le due regioni, \u00e8 chiuso a occidente da una piccola diga<\/strong> costruita negli anni ’20 a servizio della centrale idroelettrica di Rigoso. Lake Squincio is one of the many lakes located in the territory of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park, more precisely on the border between the two regions and it is closed to the west by a small dam<\/strong> built in the 1920s to serve the Rigoso hydroelectric plant. Tra gli abitati di Cereggio e Taviano si attraversa lo spettacolare affioramento roccioso detto dei \u201cPizzoni\u201d<\/strong>, costituito da arenarie grossolane (Arenarie di Ranzano), le quali danno origine a un lungo cordone che attraversa la vallata del fiume Enza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caratteristica di queste rocce \u00e8 la presenza estesa di forme tondeggianti note come \u201cmammelloni\u201d<\/strong>, dovute alla differente resistenza della roccia alla disgregazione meteorica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between the inhabited areas of Cereggio and Taviano, you meet the <\/span>spectacular rocky outcrop called “Pizzoni”<\/b>, made up of coarse sandstones (Arenarie di Ranzano), from which a long cordon rises crossing the valley of the Enza river.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Characteristic of these rocks is the extensive presence of rounded shapes known as <\/span>“mamelons”<\/b>, due to the different resistance of the rock to meteoric disintegration.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Si tratta di uno dei salti d’acqua<\/strong> pi\u00f9 belli del medio Appennino emiliano. Il rio Tassaro scende incassato tra ripide pareti d’arenaria, con salti che superano un dislivello di circa 30 mt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il sito \u00e8 suggestivo anche per le forme di erosione spettacolari<\/strong> che fiancheggiano la cascata, con nicchie, mammelloni e altre forme erosive, nonch\u00e9 per la presenza di specie arboree piuttosto rare quali la \u201clingua cervina\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ATTENZIONE: Attualmente non \u00e8 possibile accedere al sito per motivi di sicurezza poich\u00e9 una grande frana ha recentemente interessato l’area, danneggiando parzialmente la caduta. It is one of the most attractive <\/span>water falls<\/b> of the of the medium Emiliano Apennine.\u00a0<\/span>The Tassaro stream flows down in a hollow groove between steep sandstone walls, with steps of more than 30 meters.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The canyon is particularly suggestive also for the <\/span>spectacular shapes created by water erosion<\/b> along the fall, such as niches, mamelons (breast shaped hillock) and many other \u201cwhimsical\u201d erosive shapes, besides for the presence of rare species of vegetation and plants, among which the herb \u201cLingua Cervina\u201d (the Deer Tongue).<\/span><\/p>\n\n

L’Oasi di Bianello \u00e8 un’area protetta di 196 ettari, interessante sia dal punto di vista storico che naturalistico\/geologico. Dal 2012 comprende anche la ZSC “Colli di Quattro Castella” ed \u00e8 quindi inserita nella Rete Natura 2000 europea.
L’area comprende i 4 colli di Quattro Castella<\/strong> (da Ovest ad Est: Zane, Lucio, Bianello e Vetro) ed \u00e8 attraversata da una rete capillare di sentieri ben battuti, che offrono l’opportunit\u00e0 ai visitatori di scoprire angoli nascosti di natura e di scoprire la ricca biodiversit\u00e0<\/strong> presente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oasi Lipu of Bianello is a protected area of \u200b\u200b196 hectares, which is very interesting both from a historical and naturalistic\/geological point of view. Since 2012 it has also included the “Colli di Quattro Castella” SAC and is therefore included in the network of European Natura 2000. The area includes the 4 hills of Quattro Castella<\/strong> (from West to East: Zane, Lucio, Bianello and Vetro) and it is crossed by a broad network of well-trodden paths, which offer visitors the opportunity to discover some hidden corners of nature and its rich biodiversity<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Il lago Paduli si trova nel comune toscano di Comano, a poche centinaia di metri dai confini con le province di Parma e di Reggio Emilia, l\u00e0 dove il Sentiero dei Ducati lascia l\u2019Emilia per entrare in Lunigiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il lago ha una forma allungata in direzione nord-sud, \u00e8 lungo quasi 1500 metri e ha larghezza massima di 340 metri, ha una profondit\u00e0 massima di 18 metri e si \u00e8 formato in seguito alla costruzione nel 1911 di una diga<\/strong> sul torrente Enza per la produzione di energia elettrica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offre uno spettacolo suggestivo<\/strong>. Attorno \u00e8 possibile osservare i residui dei pascoli<\/strong> che occupavano un tempo l’intera conca e che generarono liti secolari tra i pastori dei vari Ducati qui convergenti (di Parma e di Toscana). Lake Paduli, is located in the Tuscan municipality of Comano, a few hundred meters from the borders with the provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia, where the Ducati Trail leaves Emilia to enter Lunigiana.<\/p>\n\n

The lake has an elongated shape in a north-south direction and it is almost 1500 meters long. It has a maximum width of 340 meters and a maximum depth of 18 meters. Moreover it was<\/strong> formed following the construction in 1911 of a dam<\/strong> on the Enza stream for the electricity generation.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

The lake offers a suggestive view<\/strong> and around it one can observe the remnants of the pastures<\/strong> that once occupied the entire basin and which generated centuries-old disputes between the shepherds of the various Duchies converging here (from Parma and Tuscany).
