Oltre al Teatro, perfettamente conservato, si trovano i resti di una necropoli, di terme romane e di alcuni altri edifici di epoca tardo-imperiale. But in I century B.C. things have changed: the decline of Fiesole began and the flourishing of Florence started.<\/p>\n<p>The centre of Fiesole is Square Mino da Fiesole, surrounded by the imposing Romanic cathedral, Palazzo Altoviti (today site of the bishop\u2019s seminary) and the Town Hall. On one side of the main square, at the end of a short but steep ascent, you find the Church of San Francesco. Still in the surroundings of the Square Mino, but in the northern direction, you find the entrance to the Roman Theatre. Beside it, there are the ruins of a necropolis, of roman thermal baths and a few other buildings of late imperial age. The Theatre is still used today and hosts a theatre and musical summer season called Estate Fiesolana<\/p>\n<p>A few meters from the Roman Theatre there is the entrance to the Bandini Museum where you can see a large collection of ceramics by Della Robbia.<br \/>\nAmongst the most important villas and gardens of the area, there are undoubtedly : Villa Medici in Fiesole, Le Balze, Fonte Lucente, villa Schifanoia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n"}},"web":"https:\/\/test.cyclando.com\/poi\/fiesole\/","addr:street":"","addr:housenumber":"","addr:postcode":"","addr:city":"","contact:phone":"","contact:email":"","opening_hours":"","capacity":""},"geometry":{"type":"Point","coordinates":[11.29276623018086,43.806744469329715]}}
