\u00c8 l\u2019unico comune della provincia di Firenze ad essere situato interamente nella zona del Chianti di cui Greve \u00e8 considerata la capitale; qui ha infatti sede il Museo del Vino, in cui viene raccontata la storia secolare dell\u2019attivit\u00e0 che rappresenta il cuore economico di questa regione. Di origini molto probabilmente etrusche, in epoca medievale la citt\u00e0 si svilupp\u00f2 come Mercatale del sovrastante Castello di Montefioralle, come testimonia la piazza centrale di forma asimmetrica, circondata da portici e vaste terrazze, sulla quale si affacciano la Chiesa della Propositura ed il Palazzo Civico.<\/p>\n

It is the only municipality in the province of Florence to be located entirely in the Chianti area of which Greve is considered the capital; in fact, the Wine Museum is located here, where the secular history of the activity that represents the economic heart of this region is told. Most probably of Etruscan origins, in the Middle Ages the city developed as the Mercatale of the overlying Montefioralle Castle, as evidenced by the central square of asymmetrical form, surrounded by porticos and vast terraces, on which the Church of Propositura and the Palazzo Civico overlook.<\/p>\n
