Affacciata sulla Valle del Mincio, Volta Mantovana si estende ai piedi del Castello medievale.
\nIl palazzo Gonzaga fu costruito nella prima met\u00e0 del XV secolo vicino alle mura e comprende anche una torre. Attualmente \u00e8 sede municipale. All’interno del complesso, nell’ex Casa del Gardiniere, \u00e8 attivo un infopoint che ospita un punto di degustazione e di ristoro per la promozione delle valenze turistiche ed enogastronomiche del territorio, rinomato per l’eccellenza dei vini locali.<\/p>\n
Di grande suggestione il complesso delle ville-palazzo, dei torrioni e delle mura che si ergono sui pendii collinari: siamo nel cuore del Chiantishire mantovano. Nel territorio dell’area protetta del Parco regionale del Mincio. Verso la valle del fiume, che qui scorre veloce su un letto di ciottoli e compiendo diversi salti di livello, vi sono percorsi ciclabili. Overlooking the Mincio Valley Volta Mantovana is situated at the foot of the Medieval Castle.<\/p>\n
The Gonzaga Palace was built in the first half of the 15th century near the walls, and it includes also one tower. Now it is the head office of the city hall. Within the building, in the former gardener’s house, there is an info point, a tastings point and a small refreshment point to foster the tourist and wine and food features of the territory, which is very famous for the excellent local wines.<\/p>\n
It is worth visiting the S. Pietro parish church and the series of villas, palaces, towers and walls on the slopes of the hills.<\/p>\n
