La Cit\u00e9 Royale di Loches<\/strong> svela i momenti chiave della sua storia e le figure pi\u00f9 importanti (dal Conte d’Angi\u00f2 Foulques III Nerra alla regina e duchessa Anna di Bretagna) che visse l\u00ec in un nuovo tour che porta il visitatore in un viaggio attraverso 500 anni di storia della Francia. Con un modello tattile, proiezioni, video e suoni per evocare la vita nella corte reale, questo nuovo display immerge i visitatori nelle ore d’oro della Cit\u00e9 Royale di Loches.<\/p>\n

Una nuova presentazione permanente in 15 spazi (700 m2) per scoprire o riscoprire la storia del sito e dei suoi personaggi emblematici, attraverso lo storytelling di due ambasciatori, Amaury & Emeline!<\/p>\n

IL FORTE<\/strong>
\nUn capolavoro dell’architettura militare dell’XI secolo.<\/p>\n

Il forte Loches \u00e8 stato costruito da Foulques Nerra intorno all’anno 1000. Con i suoi 36 metri di altezza, \u00e8 una delle fortezze pi\u00f9 impressionanti del periodo romanico. \u00c8 anche uno dei meglio conservati in Europa oggi. Questa torre principale era sia una struttura difensiva che residenziale, e fu assediata pi\u00f9 di una volta nel corso delle battaglie territoriali tra i Capeti e i Plantageneti (XII e XIII secolo). Castello di un conte, poi una fortezza reale, divenne una prigione di stato (dal XV al XVIII secolo), dove furono detenuti prigionieri politici di alto rango, poi una prigione dipartimentale (XIX e XX secolo).<\/p>\n

La sua facciata a terrazze si affaccia sulla citt\u00e0 e sulla valle dell’Indre. Un gioiello architettonico del tardo Medioevo (stili gotico e gotico fiammeggiante), la Loggia Reale di Loches era la residenza preferita della dinastia dei Valois. Fu qui che Giovanna d’Arco incontr\u00f2 il futuro Carlo VII. Agn\u00e8s Sorel, il favorito del re, visse qui e anche la regina di Francia, Anna di Bretagna, soggiorn\u00f2 qui.<\/p>\n

IL GIARDINO A ISPIRAZIONE MEDIOEVALE DELLA ZONA GONZAGUE SAINT-BRIS<\/strong>
\nUn’oasi di pace nel bel mezzo di una fortezza militare.<\/p>\n

Il giardino medievale di 700 m2 fiorisce ai piedi del mastio. C’\u00e8 un netto contrasto con l’atmosfera della prigione di pietra. Il pergolato, i banchetti erbosi e le siepi salice viventi vi invitano a rilassarvi ea sognare ad occhi aperti. The Royal Citadel of Loches <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Loc\u00e9 Cit\u00e9 Royale <\/strong> reveals the key moments of its history and the most important figures (from the Count of Anjou Foulques III Nerra to the queen and Duchess Anne of Brittany) who lived there in a new tour that brings the visitor on a journey through 500 years of French history. With a tactile model, projections, videos and sounds to evoke life in the royal court, this new display immerses visitors in the golden hours of the Loches Cit\u00e9 Royale.<\/p>\n

A new permanent presentation in 15 spaces (700 m2) to discover or rediscover the history of the site and its emblematic characters, through the storytelling of two ambassadors, Amaury & Emeline!<\/p>\n

THE FORTE <\/strong>
\nA masterpiece of 11th century military architecture.<\/p>\n

The fort Loches was built by Foulques Nerra around the year 1000. With its 36 meters high, it is one of the most impressive fortresses of the Romanesque period. It is also one of the best preserved in Europe today. This main tower was both a defensive and a residential structure, and was besieged more than once during the territorial battles between the Capetis and the Plantagenets (12th and 13th centuries). A Count’s Castle, then a royal fortress, became a state prison (from the 15th to the 18th centuries), where high-ranking political prisoners were detained, then a departmental prison (19th and 20th century).<\/p>\n

THE REAL LOGGIA <\/strong>
\nA historic landmark in the history of France.<\/p>\n

Its terraced fa\u00e7ade overlooks the city and the Indre valley. An architectural jewel from the late Middle Ages (Gothic and flamboyant Gothic styles), the Royal Lodge of Loches was the favorite residence of the Valois dynasty. It was here that Joan of Arc met the future Charles VII. Agn\u00e8s Sorel, the king’s favorite, lived here and even the queen of France, Anne of Brittany, stayed here.<\/p>\n

THE MEDIEVAL GARDEN IN THE GONZAGUE SAINT-BRIS AREA <\/strong>
\nAn oasis of peace in the middle of a military fortress.<\/p>\n

The 700 m2 medieval garden blooms at the foot of the keep. There is a stark contrast to the atmosphere of the stone prison. The pergola, the grassy banquets and the living willow hedges invite you to relax and daydream.
