La facciata \u00e8 incompiuta e priva del rivestimento marmoreo; l&#8217;interno \u00e8 classico nelle proporzioni ed \u00e8 studiato per accogliere un antico trittico di scuola senese &#8220;L&#8217;Assunzione della Vergine&#8221; dipinto da Taddeo di Bartolo nel 1401 posto sopra l&#8217;altare centrale.
